We are thrilled to announce the release of IBM Daeja ViewONE 5.0.15, now available for download. This update brings a host of improvements, new features and bug fixes to elevate your experience with our product.
IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual provides an HTML5-based image viewer that extends your web browser. You can use this viewer to view, annotate, zoom, magnify, scroll, rotate, and print your images and image documents quickly and easily. In addition, IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual provides an edit mode, called document builder, that you can use to manipulate pages in PDF and TIFF documents that are displayed in the viewer.
Key new Features:
Excel Document Rendering: Design Changes
We've updated the core implementation responsible for rendering Excel documents. Due to these changes, users may notice differences in the page count, formatting, layout or styling of Excel files compared to previous versions. Existing annotations may also shift due to layout changes.
Support for JPG EXIF Orientation
This release introduces support for the EXIF orientation tag in JPG files. The viewer now automatically rotates or flips images as needed to match the orientation specified in metadata.
View Table of Contents / Bookmarks in PDFs
PDF documents containing a table of contents or bookmarks can now be navigated easily in IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual. This improves document navigation and usability.

View Embedded Digital Certificates
Users can now view digital certificates embedded in PDF files. Simply click the View Certificates button to open a panel displaying all available certificates.

Sticky Annotations on iPad
Users on iPad can now draw sticky annotations in carbon mode. Enable this by setting the annotationsSticky HTML parameter to true.
Windows Server 2022 Qualification
IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual is now qualified on Windows Server 2022, ensuring compatibility with the latest server infrastructure.
