In today’s fast-paced digital environment, organizations need more than just operational efficiency—they need real-time visibility into their business processes to respond quickly, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions. With the release of IBM Business Automation Insights (BAI) 25.0, IBM continues to empower businesses to do exactly that.

Why Business Automation Insights?

IBM Business Automation Insights provides near real-time event monitoring by capturing data from operational systems and transforming it into business-relevant key performance indicators (KPIs). With intuitive dashboards and robust analytics capabilities, BAI helps business users, analysts, and stakeholders gain a clear view of process performance and opportunities for optimization.

What’s New in Version 25.0?

The latest release introduces several powerful enhancements designed to increase business value, flexibility, and insight:

1. Support for Rancher-Based Kubernetes

Organizations using Rancher to manage Kubernetes clusters can now deploy BAI seamlessly, making it easier to integrate into existing cloud-native environments.

2. Entitlement Integration with Business Automation Workflow

Clients already using IBM Business Automation Workflow can now leverage their existing entitlements to deploy and use BAI, simplifying licensing and deployment strategies.

3. Granular Access with OpenSearch Security Plugins

BAI now supports OpenSearch Security Plugins, allowing organizations to apply detailed access controls within OpenSearch Dashboards. This means better security and role-based data visibility across teams.

4. High Availability for Flink Jobs

High availability is now built into Flink job processing, ensuring secure, fault-tolerant handling of real-time event streams. This enhancement supports enterprise-grade reliability and scalability.

5. Dynamic Dashboard Filtering

Business Performance Center introduces dashboard-level dynamic filtering, enabling users to apply filters across multiple visualisations simultaneously. This makes it easier to drill down into specific values or categories and uncover actionable insights.

6. New Sample Dashboard for Resource Monitoring

BAI 25.0 includes a sample dashboard that provides insights into system performance, such as the number of events, average event size, and storage usage. This helps organizations assess resource needs and plan infrastructure accordingly.

With these enhancements, BAI continues to evolve as a vital tool in the automation ecosystem.
