Technology Lifecycle Services Hardware Committed Maintenance Services Levels (CMSL) for IBM products offers a smarter way to manage the support IBM Z and LinuxONE hardware systems. When your business dictates increased support over and above IBM warranty or hardware maintenance services, IBM CMSL for IBM Z and LinuxONE products provide increased hardware maintenance support options to meet your needs.
The CMSL options have been designed to give clients greater choice and flexibility with the ability to select options of committed service levels according to the critical nature of the system, reducing the potential downtime in the event of an incident.
CMSL Committed Contact Time: IBM commits to contact the client for an initial problem determination within the selected Contact Time. The Contact Time, as measured by IBM, is the period of time between the client’s service request being registered in IBM’s call management system and a qualified representative contacting the client as a first step of problem determination.
