ELM Oct/Nov User Group: ELM 7.2, AI Hub, Agents, MBSE & Real‑World Practices

We had a great turnout at the ELM Oct/Nov user group — welcome to the new attendees! The agenda focused on recent product updates, AI capabilities and a user story. Below are the session highlights and key takeaways.

What we covered

  • What’s new in ELM 7.2
    • Short overview of new features and considerations for both on‑prem and SaaS users. We discussed potential migration and operational impacts depending on your environment.
  • AI Hub — demo and walkthrough
    • Live video demo showed how AI Hub integrates with ELM and examples of how it can help automate and surface insights across artifacts.
  • DNG Quality Analysis Agent
    • Overview and demonstration of the agent that helps automate quality checks and highlight problematic artifacts.
  • EWM Work Item Synopsis Agent
    • How the agent generates concise synopses of work items to improve triage and reporting.
  • MBSE use‑case discovery with Rhapsody SE
    • Demonstrated discovery of MBSE use cases and linking models back to requirements and test artifacts.
  • Customer presentation: Davyd Norris (IBM Champion)
    • Davyd shared a real customer engagement where EWM is used to manage releases for DNG and other artifacts — practical lessons learned and recommended practices.
  • DNG custom widgets & AI integration
    • How to build custom DNG widgets and connect them with AI services.

Thanks to all presenters and the attendees for the engaging discussion — especially Davyd Norris for sharing his customer lessons.
