We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM^® Semeru Runtime^™ Open Edition v24 (24.0.2) (Feature release).

This release is based on OpenJDK jdk-24.0.2+12 (latest OpenJDK feature release that includes OpenJDK Jul'25 CPU update) and Eclipse OpenJ9 0.54. The binaries have been made available on our standard distribution sites as on 12th Aug 2025. With this feature release of IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition, one can take advantage of the latest OpenJDK feature release (v24) combined with the latest Eclipse OpenJ9 capabilities.
