IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 Public Availability is Extended

IBM released the IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 in February 2015. Since then, IBM has been providing regular public updates, including security fixes, free of charge through the IBM Support pages, Fix Central public download site, ICR.io, the RedHat Container Registry and Docker Hub. These binaries are provided as-is, without support and do not carry any warranty.

With this announcement, IBM is extending availability of security fixes for IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 from the above listed public download sites through to December 31, 2030.

Technical support for the IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 will continue to be available only through customer entitlement of an IBM product or IBM operating system. For further details, please refer to the IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, Version 8 lifecycle.
