We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM® Semeru Runtime™ Certified Edition for z/OS 21.0.6.0 (1Q25 Quarterly Update). This release contains IBM fixes and new features along with the latest security updates from OpenJDK 21.0.6+7 (Jan'25 CPU Update). The binaries have been made available on our standard distribution sites as on 25 February 2025.

• Support for ZERTJSSE provider
• OpenJCEPlus provider enhanced with AES/CCM mode support
• zEnterprise Data Compression (zEDC) Express Adapter exploitation for improved performance

• Several other critical fixes, security fixes and performance fixes
