We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM® Semeru Runtime™ Certified Edition 1Q25 quarterly updates for non-z/OS (multi-platforms). These releases are based on Eclipse OpenJ9 0.49 and OpenJDK jdk-11.0.26+4, jdk-17.0.14+7 and jdk-21.0.6+7 respectively.  The binaries are available on our standard distribution sites as on Feb 14, 2025. With these releases, IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition (multi-platforms) contains the latest CPU and security fixes from the OpenJDK Jan’25 updates.

The 1Q25 Quarterly update of IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition for multi-platforms contains the following key updates:

• This release supports, as a technical preview, JDK Flight Recorder (JFR) that is available for IBM Semeru Runtimes 11 and later running on Linux® x86 and Linux on AArch64 only.
