We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM Semeru Runtime, Certified Edition v11.0.23.0, v17.0.11.0 and v21.0.3.0. This release is based on Eclipse OpenJ9 0.44 and OpenJDK jdk-11.0.23+9, jdk-17.0.11+9 and jdk-21.0.3+9 respectively. The binaries are available on our standard distribution sites except Adoptium Marketplace as on May 31, 2024. Binaries will shortly be available on Eclipse Adoptium Marketplace as well shortly. With these releases, IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition contains the latest CPU and security fixes from the OpenJDK Apr’24 updates.

IBM Semeru Runtimes Certified Edition 2Q24 Quarterly update contains the following key updates:
