Open Great Outdoors data module from the samples.
Go to Dimensions folder, open it then click on Time base to select it.
Open the Properties pane, the click on the Filters tab.
Click Add a filter button.

In the expression, you will filter to have only 2024 for Year. So the expression is:

Name this filter Year 2024.

Develop Year 2024. By default, the usage is Enabled.
Change usage to have Design mode.

Save your data module.
Create a report based on it.
Keep the default blank template.
Click Run actions, then Show run options.
From the Run options, choose Limited data (instead of All data).

Create a list with default value and add Year from Time.
Click on Page preview. With Limited data selected for data mode, you will have only 2024.

This new feature in data module is useful when you are testing your reports. It has already been available in Framework Manager for the last 20 years.
Save this report somewhere in the Team content folder. Close your report.
Go to the folder where your report is located, then click on the report to run it. You will see (it is by design) all the years (because you are no more in Design mode).

As an author this time, if you open your report (in edit mode), you need to redefine the data mode to Design mode if you want to continue to use it.
