Celebrating Mohamed Hamoda’s 3-Year Milestone 🎉

This month, we shine the spotlight on Mohamed Hamoda, a Senior Digital Solutions Expert at Alinma Bank and a dedicated IBM Champion for three years running! Mohamed’s passion for cutting-edge technology and community empowerment has made him a driving force in Saudi Arabia’s tech ecosystem.

Mohamed’s favorite IBM product is IBM watsonx Code Assistant, which he calls a game-changer for AI-powered application modernization and IT automation. “It’s incredible how AI can streamline complex tasks and accelerate innovation,” he says. His advocacy focuses on product feedback and case studies, where he shares real-world insights to help others succeed.

What fuels his commitment to the tech community? “I want to strengthen KSA’s tech ecosystem by sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration,” Mohamed explains. One of his proudest achievements? Modernizing the microservices layer for Alinma Bank’s digital channels, a project where he was one of the key leaders behind the success showcased in the Alinma Bank WebSphere Liberty case study.

If not in tech, Mohamed would pursue his love for design as an Architectural Engineer. His advice for aspiring IBM Champions? “Share your passion openly, engage with the community, and let your expertise shine!”

Recent events that Mohamed attended and loved include the IBM Champions Meetup in Riyadh (May 2025) - a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with fellow Champions in Saudi Arabia, and the IBM TechXchange Conference EMEA 2024 in Barcelona, where he dove deep into the latest IBM innovations while networking with IBM Champions and tech leaders from across Europe.
