Robotic Process Automation with CMOD - Virtual Workshop

Thank you to all of the participants at the 'Robotic Process Automation with CMOD' - Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) Virtual Workshop 201 session on October 20th 2021.  

Our master of ceremonies and host David Jenness kicked off the workshop with a preview of the agenda and some seasonal  announcements, including DBA Client Council news, the Business Automation Insider monthly newsletter and, the Business Automation Community where you can review relevant product news and interact with your peers .  David also announced the 'IBM Community Festival 21' planned for November 8-10th and 16-17th - https://community.ibm.com/community/users/blogs/doug-moran/2021/09/23/join-us-for-the-november-community-festival.

Blair Groff provided an intro to the topic of 'Bots', including some of use cases that are more frequently being encountered.


Zach Silverstein provided an overview of core RPA capabilities including Intelligent Virtual Agents (a.k.a chatbots) and A.I. capabilities along with various integration methods.   In the demo, Zach showed how a chatbot (Intelligent Virtual Agent) can automatically interpret and resolve a client billing dispute based on a statement retrieved from CMOD.
