IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for z/OS 6.1 Fix Pack 8

IBM Z® OMEGAMON® AI for z/OS® 6.1 Fix Pack 8, APAR OA68108 and PTF UJ98109 have now shipped.

This deliverable provides the following new capabilities to the product:

z17 Power Consumption Reporting
z17 Replacement Capacity Reporting
z17 Workload Classification Data Reporting
z/OS 3.2 System Recovery Boost Reporting
Verification of support for z/OS 3.2 IHARMPL, IHAXTLST and Master SWA in 31-bit storage
Enhanced WLM Class Reporting at LPAR Level

z17 Power Consumption Reporting:

New KM5 RMF Power Consumption attribute group provided that reports LPAR and CPC power consumption for z17. New workspaces in e3270UI report z17 power consumption for CPC and LPAR.

z17 Replacement Capacity Reporting:

The LPAR Clusters attribute group has been updated to report replacement capacity metrics for z17. e3270UI workspaces are updated to report the new z17 replacement capacity metrics.

z17 Workload Classification Reporting:

Inspect Address Space CPU Use attribute group updated to report z17 workload classification data for a loaded program object that has a workload classification for z17. e3270UI Inspect workspace updated to report the new z17 workload classification data.

z/OS 3.2 System Recovery Boost Reporting:

System Recovery Boost Metrics attribute group updated to report new z/OS 3.2 system recovery boost data. New Dynamic I/O Active Recovery Process Boost type and number of zIIP cores configured online for a zIIP boost attributes are now reported in e3270UI.

Enhanced WLM Class Reporting at LPAR Level:

WLM Class Raw Extended Metrics attribute group updated to report Execution Velocity, CPU Percent, zIIP Percent and zIIP on CP Percent for service and report classes at LPAR level. WLM Class workspaces at LPAR level updated to report new metrics.
