IBM continues to improve its z/OS operating system with enhancements that allow for better management of data growth
and a reduction in complex data limitations.  Are you aware users can now request that the system convert a newly
allocated encrypted data set to non-encryption during the first open?

Also, there are cloud data access improvements that allow the upload of data to Amazon Simple Storage Service cloud
providers that are data protected by signing the payload.

Infrastructure architects and programmers can use the enhancements that allow for detection, reaction, and alerting
updates that will enable applications for more reliable business continuity.  As an example, the z/OS base Control Program
internal interface (BCPii) enhancements.

In addition, z/OS system programmers can take advantage of updated support levels of the IBM Customized Offerings Driver
for their installations.
