It is our pleasure to announce the latest version of
IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation as a Service
is available today! The 22.0.1 version includes many enhancements and new features to provide software that is more intuitive, intelligent, integrated, and flexible. In addition, we are providing a new hosting option in Montreal, Quebec to supplement the existing data center in Toronto, Ontario. Additionally, the ability to use FlexPoints toward the purchase of Process Mining as a Service and Robotic Process Automation as a Service is now available.

With each release, we continue to invest in improvements to create a more
intuitive

intelligent
with AI and machine learning, more
integrated
across components and amongst external systems, and more
flexible
by design.
Intuitive
When building a business app, we have improved data item validation and validation error handling.
Improved integration of automation services when building a business application.
When you design business apps, you can now choose to call an automation service when your application page loads.
Configuring data variables for your automation services is more intuitive by automatically leveraging existing data items when mapping your services or building your page.
Operational Decision Manager
includes enhancements in Business Console and additional configuration settings.
New simple search for content-based search
Change passwords for service accounts directly from the
Access management
view
Intelligent
Orchestrate multiple workflows in a workflow automation and publish workflows as automation services so that they can be discovered and re-used by others.
Create decisions-specific reports to track usage over time.
Integrated
Use Content Collector for Email with Content Services on Cloud
Update deployment to consolidate Content Navigator and Business Automation Navigator into a single service
Automate the continuous integration and delivery of applications from a development environment to a staging, testing, or production environment using new business application DevOps REST APIs.
Flexible
When you design applications, you can now choose to call an automation service immediately when your application page loads.
New data center in Montreal allows Canadian customers to achieve data residency with primary and disaster recovery data centers within Canada
