The Llama 3.2 release unlocks three significant sets of use cases for enterprises:

1️⃣ 🎭 Multi-Modal: Image Understanding and Visual Q&A: chart interpretation, image captioning, and more, with high-performance capabilities and safety guardrails offered through Llama-Guard-3-11B-Vision

2️⃣ 📲 Powerful lightweight 1B and 3B models, ideal for edge and IoT applications

3️⃣ ➰ Multi-Lingual Support: officially supported languages include English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Spanish, and Thai, but trained on—and developers may fine-tune Llama 3.2 models for—additional languages beyond those 8.

💡 You have deployed 3.1 in production, what should you do now?
Llama 3.2 11B and 90B models are drop-in replacements for Llama 3.1 8B and 70B models. The LLM encoder remains unchanged, allowing for a confident switch from 3.1 to 3.2. So pull the trigger to switch today.
