Am 4. und 5. November hieß es in Düsseldorf: „Two in One to Win“. Dieses Motto beschreibt perfekt, was wir gemeinsam erreicht haben – zwei spannende Formate, vereint in einem Event, mit einem klaren Ziel: Unternehmen zu überzeugen, AI sicher und skalierbar auf IBM Z und LinuxONE zu etablieren.

Das Setting:
Die Location? Ganz oben im 14. Stock des IBM Gebäudes in Düsseldorf – mit einem atemberaubenden Panoramablick und dazu goldene Herbsttage - die perfekte Kulisse für intensive Diskussionen, inspirierende Vorträge und praxisnahe Hands-on Labs.

Das Thema:
Wie können Unternehmen mit Hilfe von KI intelligente Prozesse, Anwendungen und Infrastruktur auf DER Plattform umsetzen, die für Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit und Konsolidierung steht? Genau darum ging es in unserem TechXchange Workshop. Die Agenda bot eine ausgewogene Mischung aus:

• Kundenerfahrungen und Use Cases

• Präsentationen und Demos

• Hands-on Labs für praktische Erfahrungen

Highlights:
Ein besonderes Highlight war die Watch Party des weltweiten AI Council, die wir am Nachmittag gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmern verfolgten. Hier standen die neuesten Entwicklungen im Bereich Agentic AI im Fokus – präsentiert von IBM Fellows wie Elpida Tzortzatos und Donna Dillenberger.
Weitere Höhepunkte:

• Live-Demos zu IBM Sypre Karten und AI Agents mit watsonx Assistant for Z

• Ein Überblick über IBM strategische AI-Technologien, Open-Source-Frameworks und Red Hat-basierte Lösungen

• Diskussionen zu Governance und Sicherheit für die AI Journey auf Z

Warum das wichtig ist:
Unternehmen stehen vor der Herausforderung, AI nicht nur einzuführen, sondern dies vertrauenswürdig, sicher, handhab- und skalierbar zu tun. IBM Z bietet dafür eine einzigartige Plattform – und genau das konnten wir in Düsseldorf gemeinsam erarbeiten.

On November 4th and 5th, Düsseldorf was all about: “Two in One to Win.” This motto perfectly describes what we achieved together – two exciting formats combined into one event, with a clear goal: to convince enterprises to establish AI securely and at scale on IBM Z and LinuxONE.

The Setting:
The location? The 14th floor of IBM’s building in Düsseldorf – offering a breathtaking panoramic view and golden autumn days – the perfect backdrop for deep discussions, inspiring presentations, and hands-on labs.

The Topic:
How can enterprises leverage AI to implement intelligent processes, applications, and infrastructure on THE platform that stands for security, scalability, and consolidation? That was the focus of our TechXchange Workshop, featuring a well-balanced mix of:

• Client experiences and use cases

• Presentations and demos

• Hands-on labs for practical experience

Highlights:
A special highlight was the watch party of the worldwide AI Council, which we joined together with the participants in the afternoon. The spotlight was on the latest developments in Agentic AI, presented by IBM Fellows such as Elpida Tzortzatos and Donna Dillenberger.
Other key moments included:

• Live demos showcasing IBM Sypre cards and AI agents with watsonx Assistant for Z

• An overview of IBM strategic AI technologies, open-source frameworks, and Red Hat-based solutions

Why It Matters:
