The IBM Storage Virtualize User Group was held on 3-4 June at IBM Hursley, bringing together IBM business partners and industry experts, with over 65 attendees across the 2-day event. IBM Partners had the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions and hands-on labs where experts shared the latest IBM FlashSystem and IBM Storage Virtualize updates including the unveiling of the new IBM FlashSystem Champions program.

The agenda featured insightful presentations and solutions spanning the IBM Storage Virtualize family of products. Barry Whyte, Principal Storage Technical Specialist & IBM Master Inventor gave a presentation highlighting the Technical Comparison on the Competitive Landscape for Block Storage, FlashSystem + Defender, and a session focused on the Virtualize Roadmap followed by a panel Q&A.

Tim Fisher, IBM STSM, Master Inventor, FCM Lead Architect gave presentations on Flash Technology Updates and IBM FlashCore Module Value Add. Gabriel Rodriquez highlighted Product Management Updates and Feedback in his session.

The event concluded with final presentations on the Latest and Greatest on Ransomware Thread Detection and how to Maximize your Investing with Multi-Tenant Dashboard Powered by Storage Insights.
