IBM MaaS360 seamlessly integrates with various external services that use certificates or tokens, such as Apple APNs, DEP, and VPP. These credentials must be renewed periodically to prevent service disruptions. To help administrators stay proactive, MaaS360 provides timely alerts through the Notifications widget on the new home page.
Note: In the older home page layout, notifications were displayed under the My Alert Center. In the new interface, they are consolidated into the Notifications widget, categorized by criticality: Critical, Warning, and Info.
The following table shows the Alert, Description and their functional Areas:

Features and Functionalities:
Hovering over an alert in the Notifications widget displays a tooltip with an action option, similar to the behaviour in the DEP token where, for example, an update option appears.

Clicking this option takes you to the Apps Dashboard, where you can manage tokens and perform various related actions.

Explore Notification Dashboard:
There are two ways to access the Notifications Dashboard:
1. Criticality-based Alerts: At the top of the widget, alerts are displayed with their respective counts, categorised by severity-Critical, Warning, and Info.

Clicking on any alert takes you directly to a filtered view within the dashboard, showing only the relevant notifications based on that alert type.

2. View All Button : If more than five alerts are present, a View All button will appears. Clicking this redirects you to the complete Notifications Dashboard.

Once inside the Notifications Dashboard, three columns are displayed: Type, Description, and Action (if available).Action link for a specific alert redirects you to the Apps Dashboard, as mentioned earlier in the widget section.
To make the Notification Dashboard more efficient, we provide search and filter options:
Search by:Description and Action

Filter by: Category

To return to the Notifications widget, simply click the Homepage link at the top of the page.
Conclusion:
The MaaS360 Notifications widget is an essential tool for administrators, offering a centralized way to manage alerts related to certificates, tokens, and configurations. By providing timely, categorized notifications and direct access to relevant actions, the widget helps ensure that critical system components remain up to date and functional. With the enhanced Notifications Dashboard, administrators can easily search, filter, and address alerts, significantly improving efficiency and system reliability.
