This group is focused on Scale (GPFS) users in the midwest region of the United States. Users are welcome to join the group throughout the US. We have a yearly in-person event in the Midwest. Our meetings focus on updates in Scale, use cases led by users, and other important topics. Some topics that are focused on are: How to properly size your environment, How to do major and minor upgrades, Data resiliency with Scale, Replication, AFM basics and use cases.

Our first Midwest GPFS User Group was April 30 and May 2, 2024.  These were the sessions that the first user group covered. What sessions would you want to hear again?

The event was in tandem with the Midwest Research Computing and Data Consortium Spring meeting. Whether you're a seasoned GPFS user or just getting started, this event is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about GPFS and connecting with fellow enthusiasts.
