From Insight to Action - Data Resilience Service Storage System Dashboard Gets an Upgrade

By Kelsey Ffrench posted 8 hours ago

At IBM, we’re committed to helping organizations stay ahead of evolving cyber threats and operational risks. That’s why we’re excited to unveil the enhanced storage systems dashboard
 — a powerful upgrade to IBM’s Data Resiliency Service that delivers deeper visibility, actionable insights, and a more intuitive experience for managing storage resilience.

What’s New

  • Storage System Actions
Severity-based groupings allow for quick processing of:
- Active Threats: Detect missed heartbeats or malware events in recovery groups
- System Actions: Identify issues like failed inventories or credential expirations
- Snapshot Actions: Spot stale or missing snapshots that could compromise recovery
- Profile Misalignment: Ensure volumes align with governance-based grouping and
  drill-down capabilities

  • Storage Statistics
Track the health of your storage environment with a quick view of system availability:
- Systems available vs. failed
- Volumes available vs. excluded

  • Snapshot Copy Status
Ensure your data protection strategy is current and effective with an interactive visual of the total number of volumes and snapshot copy status

  • Ransomware Protection Status
Instantly identify which volumes have ransomware enabled, disabled, or those ineligible for protection with an interactive chart that will show any gaps in your ransomware defense

  • Encryption Status
Easily view the total number of volumes and their encryption status with an interactive display to help you understand your encryption landscape

  • Storage Resilience Posture
A color-coded interactive map helps you identify any misalignments between governance profiles and resilience attributes with an added ability to click into each volume for details

Why it matters

With prioritized insights and clear classifications, you can better understand your environment, allowing you to act more quickly and confidently. Workflows are streamlined with automated assessments and guided recommendations. Built-in best practices mean improved compliance and reduced risk, leading to a better protection posture overall.
