With MaaS360, users can effortlessly add, remove, and rearrange widgets, ensuring that their homepage displays the most relevant information. Key Features of MaaS360's Customizable Dashboard

MaaS360 offers a suite of features designed to enhance user experience and productivity:

1.            Drag-and-Drop Interface: Users can effortlessly move widgets to their desired positions, creating a layout that aligns with their workflow.

2.            Widget Management: Easily add new widgets from the available section to access additional data or remove unnecessary ones to de-clutter the dashboard.

3.            Real-Time Updates: Widgets reflect the most current data, ensuring users have up-to-date information at their fingertips.

Adding a Widget:

·      Click on "Edit Dashboard": Enter the dashboard customization mode by clicking the "Edit Dashboard" button.

·     Check Available Widgets: In the "Available Widgets" section, verify if the widget you wish to add is listed.

·      Drag and Drop the Widget to Your Desired Location: Click and hold the selected widget, then drag it to the preferred spot on your dashboard. Release the widget to place it.

·      Save Your Changes: After positioning the widget, click "Save" to apply the updates.

A success message will appear: "Homepage widget(s) saved. You have successfully updated and saved widget(s) on your homepage."

Removing a Widget

·      Click on "Edit Dashboard": Access the dashboard customization mode by clicking the "Edit Dashboard" button.

·      Identify the Widget to Remove: In edit mode, you'll notice a close (X) button in the top-right corner of each widget, except for the Notification widget.

·      Remove the Widget:

Click the close (X) button on the widget you wish to remove.

The widget will be removed from your dashboard and placed back into the Available Widgets section.

·      Note: The Notification widget is mandatory and cannot be removed or reordered; its position on the dashboard is fixed.

·      Save Your Changes:

After making the desired changes, click "Save and close" to apply the updates.

A success message will appear: "Homepage widget(s) saved. You have successfully updated and saved widget(s) on your homepage."

Rearranging   Widgets

·      Click on "Edit Dashboard": Access the dashboard customization mode by clicking the "Edit Dashboard" button.

·      Select the Widget: Click and hold the widget you wish to move.

·      Drag to New Position: While holding, drag the widget to your desired location on the dashboard.

·      Release to Place: Release the widget to drop it in the new position.

·      Save Your Changes: Click "Save" to apply the updates.

·      A success message will appear: "Homepage widget(s) saved. You have successfully updated and saved widget(s) on your homepage."

Use Cases:

  • Allow users to personalize their homepage by adding, removing, or rearranging widgets based on their role. Improve focus and reduce clutter by letting users hide irrelevant widgets from their view. 
  • Enable quick access to frequently used data by allowing widgets to be reordered for optimal layout.      
  • Support different team needs by letting each team configure dashboards aligned with their workflows.
  • Provide a dynamic workspace that adapts to changes in user responsibilities or priorities.
  • Streamline troubleshooting or monitoring tasks by enabling a widget setup tailored to specific operational needs.
