Final updates to the IBM Java 8 runtime for z/TPF are now available (PJ47207)

There are updates made to the IBM® 64-bit Runtime Environment for z/TPF, Java™ Technology Edition, Version 8 to address various product security vulnerabilities.  For more information, see the security bulletin.

This is expected to be the last refresh of the runtime environment for IBM Java 8, which was previously announced as deprecated. Support will be officially withdrawn as part of a follow-on APAR in the near future.

Download and install the PJ47207_ibm-java-jre-8.0-8.15 package from the z/TPF support for IBM Semeru Runtimes and IBM Java SDK download page. This update, and associated changes made for APAR PJ47207, replaces the runtime environment provided with APAR PJ47072.
