With the OA67272 APAR PTF UJ97328 IBM Z OMEGAMON Base (OMNIBASE) shipment the Situation Event Console support is greatly improved.   You can now with correct authority do the Acknowledge and CLOSE of Situations.  Here is the Situation Event Console:

Select a Situation to work on:

Then edit the details via Event Administration so can apply updates to the situation. You can CLOSE or Acknowledge it for example:

The updates would also show in the Tivoli Enterprise Console in the TEP too.

There also in the lower right corner now is the SEC Link to get to the Situation Event Console.

So this great addition to the e3270UI makes Situation and Event handling easy to do now in OMEGAMON.
