Updates to IBM Java runtime for z/TPF are now available

There are updates made to the IBM® 64-bit Runtime Environment for z/TPF, Java™ Technology Edition, Version 8 to address various product security vulnerabilities.  For more information, see the security bulletin. There are also associated updates provided with z/TPF APAR PJ46358. One update worth noting is to enable JVMs to acquire up to the maximum number of 1-MB frames for 31-bit heap specified by the EMPS keypoint setting. For more information about PJ46358, see the APEDIT.

Download and install the PJ46358_ibm-java-jre-8.0-6.20 package from the IBM 64-bit Runtime Environment for z/TPF, Java Technology Edition, Version 8 download page. This update, and associated changes made for APAR PJ46358, replaces the runtime environment provided with APAR PJ46265.
