This fixpack release also ships the latest version of the Communications Server Linux Streams, CSLiS-7.1.1.1. This open source provides the scheduling and kernel support for communications flow through Linux. The latest CSLiS package can be downloaded from Git Hub at: https://github.com/IBM/CSLiS .
When downloading a package from Fix Central, the "refresh" package is the full product install image. The "fixpack" package is only the partial fix installable code that requires an existing ibm-commserver-7.1.x installation.
The Remote API Client images on Fix Central are "refresh" images. The Remote API client platforms updated on this release are AIX and Linux platforms. The Windows Remote API Client required no changes, so there is no Windows Remote API Client 7.1.1.1 package. The latest Windows Remote API Client 7.1.1.0 is sufficient and compatible with any Communications Server for Data Center Deployment server.
