Free IBM Certifications for Your User Group

I am thrilled to announce that the IBM Professional Certification Program is partnering with the IBM Middleware User Community!

IBM Certifications are an important way for IBM customers and business partners to distinguish their skills and earn recognition from IBM for the investment they have made in IBM skills. Effective immediately, user group members are able to take one IBM Certification exam free of charge at user group meetings, as a benefit for participating in a local user group.

Very nice indeed.

As a proud holder of 5 IBM certifications already, I think this is a great perk. Mine were acquired free of charge as well at the yearly conferences but it is much easier and cheaper to get involved in a local user group and this is a great way to drum up interest.
