IBM intends to provide z/OS V2.5 as a portable software instance – (also known as a z/OSMF ServerPac) – in January 2022.
 

  • ServerPac is a software delivery package that consists of products and service that are SMP/E installable and products that are non-SMP/E installable.

  • After January 2022 orders using the CustomPac dialogs will be gone.

  • z/OSMF, the modernization platform of z/OS management, will deliver a number of significant new functions with z/OS V2.5. There’s an overview of these new functions and other information about z/OS 2.5 here:
