To earn this badge, the badge earner should have knowledge and foundational understanding of z/OS network security, including network security overview, IPSec general knowledge, zERT general knowledge, AT-TLS general knowledge, and IDS general knowledge. This individual is able to begin using communications facilities on z/OS to perform basic operations.
The badge earner must complete the Mainframe Network Security Foundations online course, and pass the badge assessment quiz with a passing score of 80%. 

Networking on z/OS - Foundations - Get foundational understanding of networking on z/OS.

To earn this badge, the badge earner should have knowledge and foundational understanding of networking on z/OS including networking principles, TCP/IP and SNA communication protocols, and the logical and physical components associated with them. This individual is able to begin using communications facilities on z/OS to perform basic operations.
The badge earner must complete the Networking on z/OS - Foundations online course, and pass the badge assessment quiz with a passing score of 80%.

TCP/IP on z/OS Essentials - Level 1 - Understand general knowledge TCP/IP on z/OS.

This badge earner has a general knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP on z/OS. This individual is familiar with network layers, protocols at each layer, and the hardware that facilitates the transport of data.
The badge earner must complete the TCP/IP Protocol Overview, and pass the badge assessment quiz with a passing score of 80%.

IBM Shared Memory Communications Essentials  - Understand general knowledge of Shared Memory Communications (SMC)

This badge earner has the knowledge and a good understanding of Shared Memory Communications (SMC). The individual can explain what SMC is, articulate its benefits, and describe how it is used. The individual also understands the core technologies of SMC.The badge earner must go through the IBM Shared Memory Communications Essentials online course, and pass the badge assessment quiz with a passing score of 80%.

z/OS TCP/IP Configuration with NCA  - Use IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server(NCA) to create and manage TCP/IP profiles.

To earn this badge, the badge earner should have knowledge and foundational understanding of z/OS TCP/IP configuration provided with the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server (NCA). This individual is familiar with using the NCA to create and manage TCP/IP profiles, including import of exitsting TCP/IP profiles, dynamic reconfiguration of running stacks, and configuration for disaster recovery and planned outages.
The badge earner must 
           - Creating and dynamically modifying a TCP/IP profile with NCA.
           - Importing a TCP/IP profile,
           - Creating and working with alternate configurations.

zERT Policy Enforcement Configuration with NCA - Configure zERT Policy Enforcement using the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server (NCA)

To earn this badge, the badge owner should has the knowledge and foundational understanding of configuring zERT Policy Enforcement using the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server (NCA). This individual can create various objects and rules in zERT, install rules to policy agents, and use zERT reports to analyze their NCA zERT configuration.
The badge earner must complete the zERT Policy Enforcement Configuration with NCA, and pass the badge assessment quiz with a passing score of 80%.
