You can use the IBM Spectrum Control™ GUI to monitor the performance and capacity of your storage resources. You can also report on the condition, capacity, and performance resources in the Cognos® Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tool. The Cognos BI tool is an optional component that you can install with IBM Spectrum Control. IBM Spectrum Control is a member of the IBM Spectrum Storage Suite.

Use Cognos BI to view predefined reports and create custom reports about your storage resources. To access Cognos BI from the IBM Spectrum Control GUI, click  Reports > Cognos - Create capacity reports or Reports > Cognos - Create performance reports.
