Video: BeeTravels application for OpenShift on the LinuxONE Community Cloud

At the recent Digital Developer Conference on Hybrid Cloud, Max Shapiro gave a talk on "Using Openshift on Different Clouds":

Learn how to use and interact with Openshift as a developer. In this session, we will compare and deploy the Bee Travels application to Openshift on IBM Cloud and on other Clouds.

One of the clouds he demonstrated the deployment on was the new Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform on the LinuxONE Community Cloud!

In this session, Max uses the Bee Travels application, which now includes configuration files for IBM Z. Changes to the YAML files were made to account for quotas, the pre-created project which comes with the environment, and the need to use container images built for IBM Z (s390x), which he noted, but otherwise he shows the application getting up and running with ease.

Replays are now available, you can watch the 22-minute video here on the DDC: DevOps Implementation channel: Using OpenShift on Different Clouds.
