Back in February, IBM acquired IntelliMagic, a Netherlands-based company specialized in optimizing z/OS system performance using analytics to proactively manage z/OS environments and help mitigate disruptions, reduce costs and support reliability and availability, as announced by Skyla Loomis here.
In few weeks, the first IBM branded release of the main offering, IBM Z IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS, was available on the market, you can read more about it here.
Not a surprise that some of the users of the IntelliMagic products were a bit concerned about what was going to change as side effect of the IBM acquisition. They were used to a very friendly and at the same time professional relationship with IntelliMagic team … as well as they were used to frequent updates of the product with enhancements and new features, delivered regularly every 4 weeks.
I am happy to share that even in the “new world”, IntelliMagic an IBM company, the product continue to be improved regularly and last May 31st a new update of the product was made available through the usual IBM channel (Fix central). It is the second update made available since the first GA, respecting the 4 weeks delivery schedule that was used for this product.
For this release a supporting release video is available. You can find it here: https://intellimagic-1.wistia.com/medias/4ys1tq00e2
