Giving Thanks for the October WebSphere User Group Meeting

By David Follis posted Wed October 09, 2019 10:26 AM

If the stores can have Christmas stuff already, I can make a Thanksgiving reference for our October meeting...

Thanks to everybody who joined us last Friday....
Thanks to the speakers (Alasdair Nottingham, Dave Sudlik, Greg Ecock)...
Thanks to IBM for the space and the food...
Thanks to the volunteers who organized and managed all the other logistics...
Thanks to Karlo Olandia who missed all the presentations while manning the door to greet people..

And, of course, thanks to all of our user group members who don't delete these emails without reading them..(that would be you!).

If you couldn't make it to the meeting, the chart decks are over in the Library section of the user group, or follow this link:

You'll find Dave Sudlik's presentation on Kabanero, Cloud Paks for Applications, and the various bits inside there (Appsody, Tekton, etc).  You'll also find Alasdair Nottingham's Liberty Update presentation.

That wraps up our face to face meetings for 2019, but we'll be getting back together sometime in the first quarter next year.
PLEASE - feel free to post suggested topics for that next (or any future) meeting.  The meetings are much more fun if we're talking about things people are interested in.
