IBM Power servers are purpose built for data-intensive applications such as SAP HANA and S/4HANA that require large amounts of in-memory computing but still let you maintain the high availability and flexibility required for your hybrid cloud.
As of April 15, 2025, SAP has certified IBM i 7.6 for all SAP Solutions running on SAP NetWeaver.
The certification is valid for SAP NetWeaver 7.x based products that have been in Mainstream or Extended Maintenance at the beginning of 2025 (see SAP Platform Availability Matrix and Maintenance Strategy). For additional information refer to SAP Notes 68440 and 3589826.
