Do you think the list of Available Members is too large to work with?
Do you want to find a member but are unsure of its exact name?
Do you need your set to match some specific criteria?
The search feature of the Set Editor helps you select, group, and save lists of members that identify the data you want to analyze. When you search for members and save a set that includes the search results, a dynamic set is created which contains a query that is run every time the set is opened and updates any changes that match the search. It is a great feature to narrow the list of members that you see in a report.
This video guides you through the search feature of the Set Editor in IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel.
