In case you were not aware, IBM has published "Blueprints" for Spectrum Protect. These are not the minimum requirements; these are lab tested and verified builds based on using the new Directory Container pools, which include in-line Deduplication and Compression, and using Node Replication for offsite recovery. They provide the hardware specs for small, medium, and large environments. Be sure to check them out when planning your next environment upgrade/refresh!
