Incremental enhancements to IBM CM8 (Content Manager Enterprise Edition) 8.6 have continued to add to its already robust & extensive feature list. Web-based admin enhancements, object storage support, API improvements, & additional integration with Content Navigator are some of the newest features that have generated the most interest since becoming available.

Many customers who had requested these enhancements are now leveraging them in their CM8 production environments.  Cloud storage support for CM8’s Resource Manager has proven particularly beneficial to customers who needed to archive documents on IBM Cloud Object Storage (ICOS), Amazon Web Services (AWS) storage, & Hitachi Content Platform (HCP). 

Requests for credential vault support are now being utilized by customers when writing to the CM8 API.  See the documentation on that API call here
