Improved License Key Center UI: Generating Authorization Code

By Archive User posted Wed December 06, 2017 10:57 PM

As you saw in our previous blog, we are coming out with an exciting redesign to the License Key Center.

We wanted to build on the excitement and give you a hands-on preview of the experience. Below video shows the code generation experience with the new LKC. At this time, this is a preview only (with more improvements coming next week).

The new experience features the following key improvements:

• Modernized and refreshed UI
• Intuitive and organized Welcome Screen
• Clearly presented product lines and versions (separating supported and supported)
• Single page code generation and review

Hello Mikhail!
What about legacy products of SPSS? It's disappeared from generator. That sounds really weird, but we have clients used 14-18 versions.

Meni - thank you for your feedback! This is exactly why we're working on modernizing and simplifying the LKC experience.

Hello Mikhail,
I am using the LKC ever since IBM took over SPSS for about 7 years now. the IBM LKC is one of my (and my colleagues) main interface during my work day, all day, every day.
its slow, cumbersome, require many repetitive and unnecessary actions to generate an authorization code. the old SPSS generator had it all in one page and it was great!
please, please please make the new LKC as simple and fast as you can. all those different pages really can be substituted by drop down lists or check box, instead of waiting for a new page to load.
sorry if i sound a bit upset, we had no one to listen for 7 years, and now we finally have a chance to make our working day a bit more easier.

Thanks!
