Benefits of the stack
With IBM Power HPC Stack, you can enjoy the simplified purchasing experience and streamlined installation procedure on IBM Power System S822LC (Minsky) hardware with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 (ppc64le) software. For example, you can easily perform the following tasks by using IBM Power HPC Stack:
  • Remotely deploy an IBM Power HPC Stack cluster
  • Verify the cluster with the help of an automated end-to-end system validation tool
  • Integrate the Power HPC Stack into your corporate network environment

Stack details
IBM Power HPC Stack V1.1 includes the following offerings:
  • IBM XL C/C++ compiler, V13.1.5
  • IBM XL Fortran compiler, V15.1.5
  • IBM Parallel ESSL for Linux on Power, V5.3
  • IBM Parallel Performance Toolkit for Power, V2.3.0.1
  • IBM Spectrum™ LSF® Suite (LSF, MPI*, Cluster Foundation, and Application Center Process Manager), V10.1.1
  • IBM Spectrum Scale™ Client, V4.2.2 PTF2
  • IBM Engineering and Scientific Subroutine Library (ESSL) for Linux, V5.5
