We want to take the Optimizing Performance Guide to the next level. To do this, we need your help. What information would you like to be included in the guide? Is there anything missing?

To help us identify topics for inclusion, please add your comments and suggestions to this page. Or, you can add a comment to the Optimizing Performance wiki page:

Hi Marc, thank you for your comment. I am going to collect as much feedback as I can for the guide, and I will add your comments to the list of considerations for future improvements. Thanks for taking the time to comment! Deirdre

Hi Deidre, It's not so much a suggestion about the guide, as much as a section of the Performance Guide that should be in the installation guide. I believe that the section "Configuration best pratices" http://ibm.co/1ixysKn, which has really a lot of good information on how to properly size a server should either be moved or duplicated in the "Capacity Planning" section of the server install (http://ibm.co/1ixyZfl). My reasoning is that I have seen to many customers suffer from performance problems because they undersized it, then they look at the performance guide. While it's never too late to fix an environment, they may have avoided some grief if they had seen this info prior to installing it. Possibly renaming the guide may help too because it serves as both a useful planning tool to design an environment, but also to address performance problems to an existing one. Thanks, Marc...
