IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 SR8 FP30 (8.0.8.30) (Quarterly update) Released!
We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 SR8 FP30 (8.0.8.30) across all supported platforms. The binaries have been made available across all distribution sites as of August 14th, 2024. This release is based on Oracle's July’24 CPU update.
IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8.0 SR8 FP30 contains the following key updates in addition to security fixes and bug fixes:

IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, v8 now contains FIPS 140-3 cryptography certified by U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and is fully supported for production use across most platforms. The following platforms are now discontinued with IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, version 8.0 as communicated earlier:
IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, version 8.0 will be discontinued on the following platform reaching end of support:
‘End of support’ in the above notice means that no release binaries or packages will be produced for the IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, version 8.0 on these platforms after the specified dates and no support will be provided (including interim fixes in support cases).
