Scope 3 spend data account styles that are allocated by AI Assist are now stored in a new feedback mapping table. In the table, you can review and update the reference text to account style mapping, and overwrite account styles that AI Assist allocates in the mapping. You can also create mappings based on your specific spend data categorization needs. Future AI Assist data file processing operations use the updated mappings to directly allocate account styles, in preference to allocations inferred by AI models.

Why it matters

The current AI Assist process allows the spend data reference text to be effectively allocated to one of the USEEIO 66 categories. Now, in the feedback mapping table, you can overwrite the AI Assist results and provide updated feedback for future mappings. The ability to define your own mappings provides higher accuracy for data categorization, and improves overall spend-based scope 3 data emissions reporting.
