Excellence in AI at Work

EY created "EY.ai," built for tax but applicable enterprise-wide. EY.ai for tax is built with IBM watsonx and uses business documents—contracts, POs, work orders, invoices, and tax forms—as the source of truth to detect and correct errors in systems. The documents aren’t changed, but rather are used to update inaccurate or missing data. IBM watsonx’s business-trained models reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy. With built-in governance, it ensures data corrections are reliable, traceable, and compliant at scale.

Banorte Financial Group produced smart agents to achieve extraordinary outcomes. Excellence in FinOps

WPP’s outstanding use of Apptio, IBM Cloudability, and IBM Turbonomic showcases the true potential of intelligent cloud financial operations. Their ability to integrate, optimize, automate, and build a FinOps culture across a global enterprise makes them a prime candidate for the IBM TechXchange Excellence Awards, not only to be recognized, but to serve as a benchmark for other organizations that aspire to achieve similar success with IBM technologies.

CXP Brasil is redefining FinOps in Latin America. Through strategic use of IBM Turbonomic, they helped Elo and Nuvemshop move from reactive cost control to proactive, intelligent cloud optimization. But their true impact goes beyond savings: CXP Brasil ignites cultural change, uniting engineering and finance, and embedding FinOps as a core discipline that empowers teams to scale with visibility, accountability, and confidence.

Hyland, an intelligent content solution provider, needed to improve their visibility into cloud costs after a “lift and shift” move to AWS. With thousands of customers, Hyland needed to manage a significant AWS footprint, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and EBS volumes, and was looking to increase transparency and customer confidence in its AWS cloud usage. The team used IBM Cloudability to gain insight into costs, reducing Amazon RDS expenditure by 50%. They were also able to reduce over-provisioning of compute and storage resources, address anomalies, and provide cost analysis and actionable data to customers. The cost savings, insight, and cloud visibility that came with IBM Cloudability implementation has had a direct, positive, measurable impact on business decisions and sales.
