  • 1.  wTM session timeout and 'hold' status of FixUp panel.

    Posted 26 days ago

    Hi,

    We use Datacap v9.1.7.

We set wTM session timeout (sessionTimeout value of Web.config) to be 1 minute.

Then, we started FixUp task through RESTAPI call.

After more than one minute, FixUp task was changed to 'hold' status.

Is changing of Fixup task to 'hold' status after wTM session time-out a product specification?

If so, how can we continue processing this batch through RESTAPI call?

If we changed the FixUp task status to 'running' via RESTAPI call,

can we again continue working with FixUp panel?

We are investigating an issue reported by the client.

I got an answer from Support.

"Datacap engineering can confirm that when the session terminates due to a timeout issue then YES, the batch will be put on hold because if the session timeouts or the user decides to close the browser abruptly then yes, the batch will be put on hold.  "
