Yes, the ports used for IIS sites should be different. You should also make sure not to use ports that might be in use already. I've used 449 for the Web and 450 for the Web API. But, these should not matter the just need to be unique in your environment.

Are you using the latest IBM RPA 20.12.0 installers or something else? Have you rebooted your env after the installation? What is your host OS and version?
There could be several reasons for this. I suggest you check all the following (after rebooting your env):- The database tables are created for the databases
- IIS sites (for web client and web api) are created and started
- IBM RPA (WDG Automation) Service is running

I have successfully installed the WDG server. DBs are created. I have give the web client port as 81. But I cannot access the web client from https://localhost:81. It display Error code 500. Why is that? Help me on this.
