  • 1.  Unable to Run a BOT from Control Center

    Posted Tue January 21, 2025 10:59 AM

    Hi Everyone,

I have installed the IBM RPA Server on a Windows Server 2019 environment (on-premise setup). The server seems to be configured correctly, and I have created a computer and computer group. The necessary certificates are installed, and the computer shows as connected in the Control Center.

However, when I attempt to run a bot from the Control Center, I encounter the following error:
The bot '33ead657******************' could not start running. Failed to queue the bot in the computer group queue.*

I've double-checked the configuration, including the computer group and certificate setup, but I am still unable to resolve this issue.

If anyone has faced a similar issue or has insights on what could be causing this error, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

is that your machine run on the same net?
IBM recommended bots must be in the same net. You can install the bot on the same machine of RPA server to double check ( it must work).
Scheduling and orchestration processes do not work when using MSMQ - IBM Documentation  (The IBM RPA server and client are not installed on the same subnet.)
Or you can research about queue port and open all through firewall => It can work even though it's not at the same net!
