Hello. I have a problem with the start recorder option. I click on it but the recorder's menu bar never shows up.
Any idea? I was trying to automate notepad and I couldn't. Even if I try to stop the recording, it makes nothing to click on the stop recorder button.
if I try to 'Start step by step' and I click on "Yes" (see atachment) 'stop recorder' stays there, so it since like the recorder is still running.
I thought was related to the scale of my window, but it's on 100% so not sure what else to check. I also try with the browser extension and is not working either.
Current version of my studio is 23.0.0
I appreciate any help you can provide.
First I would suggest restarting Studio, but since I faced a similar issue in version 23.0.0 that was not fixed by a restart, I believe that you will need to upgrade the version you are using.
I encountered this same issue, as Angelo mentioned.
One of the programs on my machine had been set up to launch every time I pressed the PrtScn key. It would take a screenshot of whatever page I was on at that moment. After disabling the program and restarting studio, my recorder began functioning properly again.
This was never an issue before, and is a bug that the IBM RPA team is aware of.
Hello, this error is occurring because you have some keystroke capture tool like PrintScreen. Disable them, restart Studio, and try starting the recorder again.
