IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT)

Hello, while using BigFix we stumbled across the msg saying

"Site certificate update detected, BESAdmin must be run to propagate the change."

(BigFix Management - License overview, see screenshot attached)

Uncertain what to do next. Should we use the Fixlet

"Switch BES Client Action Site Masthead - BES >= 9.0"?

Anything we must do prior to using this fixlet? We are NOT switching BigFix Server.

Hi all,

we are using BigFix exclusively for ILMT, so our knowledge and experience is a bit limited ...

Came to my mind that BESAdmin is an application outsite of the BigFix Console. Found it and ran it, it asked me right from the start whether I want to update the license file.

Then I exported the new license file, put it into the Uploads folder and ran the Fixlet mentioned above. All went smooth.

So, we are all set now.
