    Hello Guys,

    I'm stuck with 2 clients who are not uploading their scan results on the ILMT dashboard (through BigFix). 

    Everything looks ok on BigFix side. The "run capacity scan and upload results" are completed successfully. However on the ILMT dashboard, it is showing that 'Scan Not Uploaded" for 2 clients. I have attached some screenshot for you have a better idea.

    Please help! :)

    Hello,

    I can only see two root causes:

    1)  capacity scans from those two endpoints have never really reached Bigfix server,
    2)  ILMT import process has discarded those two capacity scans due to some issues...nna incomplete/broken 'ComponentID' section seems to be most popular.

    For the first problem please collect the endpoint's logs of those affected computers (using 'Computer Support Data' panel) and verify the 
    sha1_files folder.
    For the second problem please check the ILMT's import logs for any WARN/ERROR entries right before following statement:
    (ImportThread) com.ibm.license.mgmt.etl.core.actions.CitScanImportStep::processCapacityScans::STATISTICS: xxx file packages were uncompressed. xxx files with capacity scan data were successfully imported. For xxx files the import failed.

    Thanks a lot for your responce.

    I have attached the Computer Data Logs for both client. Please have a look.

    As for the second point, I got this from the import log:

    00:22 (+0:00:01.938) INFO:  (ImportThread) com.ibm.license.mgmt.etl.core.actions.CitScanImportStep::processCapacityScans::STATISTICS: 0 file packages were uncompressed. 0 files with capacity scan data were successfully imported. For 0 files the import failed. Download time: 16ms, processing time : 1640ms.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

    In the future, please do no upload sensitive data to the forum. 

    If needed, please open a case with ILMT Support, so you can upload the data/logs directly to the case.

    Well noted. I have been going around with this issue, yet no solution is found. I'll be glade if this can be solve since getting pressure from my client and the IBM audit team.

    Hello Keshava,


    Please disregard my latest post...
    I've suggested myself with your "run capacity scan and upload results" remark without looking closely into screenshots...

    So, in your case it looks like that 'Upload Software Scan Results' action has not been executed against those two endpoints.

    'Initiate Software Scan' action looks fine...it's just the upload part which has not been run.
    Please doublecheck the 'Action history' tab (BigFix Console) against that those two endpoints...does is it show 'Upload Software Scan Results' ?

    No, there are not. There is only the Run Capacity Scan and Upload Results which has been completed successfully.
