    Hi!
    I cannot connect to https://localhost:8099 after I upgraded to the latest version (21.0.3-IF001). For instance when I try to connect to https://localhost:8099/web/en-GB/license to check my license the site can't be reached.

    I have upgraded to newer versions many times and it has always worked to connect to localhost:8099 without any additional actions, but not this time.

    The port seems to be open when I check the inbound rules in the firewall settings.

    Do anyone know if there is any problem with the IBM RPA agent in this version or can see any other obvious solution to my problem?

    Hello Anders,

    Please, check if  "remote debugging" is allowed. This feature came out in some of the earlier versions.

    All computer policies where already set to "Allowed" though. So it didn't help to solve my problem.

    Hi again Nigel,
    I have now uninstalled IBM RPA, removed everything related to older versions of IBM RPA, downloaded the latest version through our tenant in the SaaS environment, and installed it again.
    The IBM RPA Agent service is up and running.
    But when I try to start IBM RPA Studio I get the message that I'm out of licenses, still. I have then restarted the IBM RPA Agent, but get the same result.

    Any suggestions what to check next?

    Have you tried deactivating and then reactivating your license in the License agent?

    The step I showed you is re-entering your license info, not starting the license agent

    Okay, so you need to download the certificate from the machine and install it again.

    On computers > locate this machine > download certificate and install (run file)

    Hi Angelo,
    I have now downloaded the certificate and installed it again. I can find it in the certificate manager under "Certificates - Local Computer / Personal / Certificates".
    I have then restarted the Agent.
    I have checked in the firewall settings that the port 8099 is open.
    But I still cannot get access to https://localhost:8099/web/en-US/license.
    When I run the Windows Network Diagnostics I get the following message.

    I have an older version of IBM RPA installed on another computer where it still works fine to run bots and to run IBM RPA Studio. That is using the same Tenant and license.

    I found the text below in the online documentation. I have not deactivated my license before the upgrade / reinstallation. (The license still works for another computer though.) Can this be the root cause of my problem? In that case, what do I need to do?

    Andres,

    That's not the cause, you need to deactivate the license if you're just going to uninstall it on one machine and install it on another. In your case which is the same machine, it is not necessary. Even in version 21.0.3.1 it already validates if your machine already has a license.

    In this case, I advise you to open a support case (https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/?language=en_US) and upload the AgentService log to investigate the cause.
